What is time management?
A person who knows time management is:

· Organized,

· Productive,

· Competent

· Quiet,

· Content


Students must create a system that allows them to have full control of their day and to throw all their roles (student (s), sister or brother, working (e), boyfriend or girlfriend, etc..)


The benefits of time management
The majority of daily stress is caused by lack of time!
• Structure your time will ease chronic stress;
• Do not manage time may eventually cause depression;
• Reduce stress and anxiety by adding methods of relaxation into your schedule.

OVERCOMING PERFECTIONISM ...
• Remember that making mistakes is a human trait;
• You learn more about ourselves by our failures;
• Aim for excellence instead of perfection;
• Takes the time needed, the preparation is, does the job in the shortest time and be proud of the final product.
• Prepare a reasonable schedule and follow it;
• Use timing device to remind you when the time is up;
• Force yourself to go to the next task;
Be patient with yourself by practicing imperfection


The fear of failure ...
• Ask yourself what you fear: the judgment, to look stupid?
• Is there evidence to support these fears?
• Once you have thought at the worst result, fears are minimal and trying is more positive.
• Try not to let your emotions control what you are trying to do.
• Take action first, and the good feelings will follow.
Develop persistent!
• Do one thing at a time;
• Each person experience failure, this does not reflect your worth as a person;
• Watch your thoughts; beware of your inner dialogue when things go wrong.


The fear of success ...
• Those who are afraid of success are the masters of self-sabotage.
• It may be that success does not fit their self-concept. They see themselves as unworthy of success.
• Ask yourself what would be different in your life if you stop sabotaging your success and succeed.
• What are the advantages and disadvantages of success?
• Once you identify the reason for the sabotage, you can begin to address the problem.
• Push your fears for success by defining your goals, both long and short term.
• While the fear of success is in this, your goals are in the future.


Suggestions for the selection and use of your planner
• Selected a planner and use it for all your time. Keep all contacts, telephone numbers and schedules in one place.
• Keep your calendar in one place for easy access. For example, near the phone or on your desktop.
• Do not become the slave of your time management system.
Make sure there is a balance between how you work and your time management system.


How to schedule?
• Plan your priority tasks at the beginning of the week.
• Be aware of deadlines. Plan to finish your task before the deadline.
• This will give you time to deal with emergencies or unforeseen events.
• Overestimate rather than underestimate how long it will take to complete a project.


• Plan your work as an appointment with yourself.
• If you must interrupt your scheduled task to take care of an emergency, do not forget to schedule your job as soon as possible.
• Once you have planned your priorities, you can fulfill part of your calendar with other less important activities.


Email Management
How often should I check my email?
Once a day is recommended! Do not respond to emails immediately when received. Try not to use the alert message that tells you when new messages arrive, you will be tempted to respond immediately.


When is it bad to use email?
The email is not the best option if you are dealing with an urgent issue. If you can contact the recipient on their phone, you have a better chance to fix the problem quickly


Interrupt handling
Strategies to manage or minimize interruptions:
• Tell people not to interrupt you:
- Record a message on the phone telling people that you're available to take and return calls between specified times only;
- Do the same for your emails.
If people know when you are available, they are less likely to interrupt you while you are busy.
• Disable: Disable the technology that allows people to contact you.
• Politics of a closed door: Publish a calendar time "open house".
• Finish the conversation: Do not let people monopolize your time. Be diplomatic but honest. Try this ...
• "Forgive me, but I do not have time to talk now. "Or" I will be available at 16:00 for ten minutes, is this a good time for you? "


How to say NO!
• The ability to say "no" at the right time, you can save time, but can also preserve relationships.
• Time is a commodity and people often ask us for our time, because they do not have enough on their own time.
• Example: if someone asks you to be a committee member, tell them you want to help, but your schedule does not allow for something new.
• If your boss of your part-time job asks you to take more work, you can ask him what project he wants you to stop in order to fulfill this request.
• This gives choice to the boss and places it in a position of decision making and specifies what will and will not do.
• Never meet someone locally; assert themselves and take time to think about it.


Time management for students
The higher the level of education, the largest investment in time required.
In general, at the university level, you will spend two hours of study for every hour you are in class.
If you spend 12 hours per week in class, you must schedule 24 hours of preparation and study. You must therefore spent 36 hours of your week at school.

Ministers are behind the bars or out of the bars ...

Kill and take your freedom! From nearly 3-4 days, rumors spread in place that took everybody’s attention. Rumors are people who announce news, sometimes the latter are real and others aren’t real. I would like to talk about ministers behind the bars or out of the bars. 

First of all, what we have in Egypt, aren’t Ministers, they are thieves. They robbed the country’s money. There are so many opinions. Some people say that they should be trailed in prison and pay them ransom in change they will stay in jail.

Some people say that Egyptians don’t need ministers more than money, so they can pay to gain their freedom! But if people thought like that, it will be the most catastrophe thing in the world because they can steel again and even do the extremely worse, the country won’t support and care the misfortunes, nobody knows!

For my personal opinion, I do care about these killed people who are robbed by the ministers. Also I do believe in their appearance. To me, I would like to see ministers in jail in certain years (from 15 years in sentence).And from year to year, they have to pay us back what they had stolen from the country and to make sure, that the judges who will monitor where the money goes to protect it and to be sure that it will go to the right place.

To conclude, money isn’t the most important thing in the world, but people are dying without money. So we have to save them and to think a little bit about them. Because they are dying behind our backs. Do you think that these ministers caused the poverty in Egypt or not?

The qualities of a good friend.

There are many good qualities of a good friend. A good friend is honest. He doesn’t have to share every detail of every second of life, but he does try to be clear about his intentions. This means that he tries to present an accurate picture of who he is and of different situations. When something doesn't seem right, he lets you know. A good friend is fun, unique and interesting. The first reason for choosing someone to be your friend is that he is fun and adds a smile to your life. In addition, there’s a lot to be said for chemistry and shared interests. As for fun, it depends how you define it: Some friends are fun because they're the life of the party; others are fun because they notice every strange little detail about a situation. Some people are fun simply because they see life like no one else does. . A good friend is attentive and adaptable. A good friend is at least a fairly good listener and notices how little, day-to-day things affect you. He can’t read your mind, but chances are he can usually tell when you're happy, sad, excited, shocked or upset. If he is aware that he is doing something that annoys you, he tries to change his ways or at least talk to you about it. A good friend is supportive of you and your goals. Sure, your friend may think you're cool, but is he on the same page as you? Does he know what you want most out of life? A really good friend will know what makes you tick and helps you become the person you want to be. He won’t try to change who you are or drag you into situations that make you uncomfortable or put you at risk of losing something that matters to you. 

1923.

The constitution is the set of basic principles according to which a country is governed. When these principles are written down into a single collection or set of legal documents, those documents comprise a written constitution.

The Constitution is the set of guiding principles or laws all court decisions must abide by. The first twentieth century constitution for Egypt is that of 1923. It was called the constitution of 1923.
The 1923 Constitution, which lasted until 1952, provided for constitutional monarchy as the political system of the new nation. It set up a parliamentary system of government based on the Westminster model and provided for:


· A house of representatives and senate


· A cabinet that was accountable to the parliament


· Powers to the King to assemble or dissolve parliament


· Powers to parliament to summon itself in case it was not called into session in accordance with the schedule


Concerning the question is it better for the Egyptian government to write the constitution first or to have the president election first. This question is a dilemma for all the Egyptians to answer due to the ‘uprising events throughout all Egypt. I can’t find the right answer for such a crucial question because on one hand we need a president to lead the Egyptian ship through the high storm of the revolution, but this president without a constitution will be helpless. So the best way to resolve such a predicament is to resolve the problem of the constitution first as quickly as possible. We have the expert legislators who can do that job in very short time to achieve what we aim at so when the new president is elected he will find the constitution that will give him the power to carry out all his plans and promises.

I and 2012!

This is a lost country with 90 million people!


My country is in an embarrassing situation to relive the opportunity of Tahrir square but in all accents of life. I want my people to say the differences and to become more organized.


I will never give up on a civil constitution country, not a religious one. The Tahrir square is our power and we will keep going their till the revolution finishes and our demands are achieved.


I am confident that we will be able to manage the difficulties; a challenge is to try and to end of find a formula; why and by we can accept each other (Muslims, Christians). And to be able to articulate our senses.


I wish for our government to find a way to reduce our country.


I want Tahrir which is translated into liberation from all the administration apathy and many called them the 3D predated the society for their case.


I want to see colors everywhere, to see people living their own life, and not just go into emotions.


I want people to start directing their efforts to developing their laughing economy not fasting over the politic landscape.


I hope that education will make a huge difference than before.


I hope that it is something that we will take with us for the coming year and other.


For this coming year and many years after, I hope that we saw from 25th of January 2011 would be: how it will be for the next commentary, so all that came opposite, how we see each other and how the Egyptians interrupted each other.

Globalization (reflection)

Globalization is a difficult term to define because it contains so many things. In general, globalization refers to the movement toward countries joining together economically, through education, society and politics, and viewing themselves not only through their national identity but also as part of the world as a whole. Globalization is said to bring people of all nations closer together, especially through a common medium like the economy or the Internet.


In our world, it is reducing poverty worldwide, It is allowing access to technology in, It promotes world peace, It has benefited women and children’s rights and It raises life expectancy.


An increased international trade, a company operating in more than one country, there has always been a sharing of goods, services, knowledge and cultures between people and countries, but in recent years improved technologies and a reduction of barriers means the speed of exchange is much faster. Globalisation provides opportunities and challenges. Although globalisation is probably helping to create more wealth in developing countries - it is not helping to close the gap between the world's poorest countries and the world's richest. Weak domestic policies, institutions and infrastructure and trade barriers can restrict a country's ability to take advantages of the changes. Each country makes decisions and policies that position them to maximize the benefits and minimise the challenges presented by globalisation. The issues and perceived effects of globalisation excite strong feelings, tempting people to regard it in terms of black and white, when in fact globalisation is an extremely complex web of many things. So I’ll present my own point of view about the globalisation.






Firstly, the advantages (benefits) of globalization which talking about the economy of countries to improve standards and reduce poverty, to improve access to health care and clean water which has increased life expectancy.


Improved environmental awareness and accountability has contributed to positive environmental outcomes by encouraging the use of more efficient, less-polluting technologies and to control adoption by global companies of workplace standards for their internationalised production facilities in developing countries has made an important contribution to respect for international labour standards.


International migration has led to greater recognition of diversity and respect for cultural identities which is improving democracy and access to human rights.






Secondly, the disadvantages (problems) of globalisation. There are social and economic costs to globalization and it requires participating countries to undertake economic restructuring and reform.-Some countries have been unable to take advantage of globalisation and their standards of living are dropping further behind the richest countries.


Increased trade and travel have facilitated the spread of human, animal and plant diseases. -Globalisation has also enabled the introduction of cigarettes and tobacco to developing countries, with major adverse health and financial costs associated with that.


The major economic powers have a major influence in the institutions of globalisation, and this can work against the interests of the developing world. The level of agricultural protection by rich countries has also been estimated to be around five times what they provide in aid to poor countries. -Trade liberalisation and technological improvements change the economy of a country, destroying traditional agricultural communities and allowing cheap imports of manufactured goods. This can lead workers in the traditional sectors of the economy. people may not have the appropriate skills for the jobs which may be created. -Globalised competition can force a genious, where highly educated and qualified professionals, such as doctors, engineers and specialists, migrate to developed countries to benefit from the higher wages and greater career and lifestyle prospects. This creates severe skilled labour shortages in developing countries.


To conclude, globalisation is the process by which the world is becoming increasingly interconnected as a result of massively increased trade and cultural exchange. Globalisation has increased the production of goods and services. The biggest companies are no longer national firms but multinational corporations with subsidiaries in many countries. Globalisation has been taking place for hundreds of years, but has speeded up enormously over the last half-century.

Vacation.

Today is the 21st of December, my grandmother suggested to me to go in a holiday either in Lebanon or in Dubai. So I started to collect information’s for the two countries to have a choice and to agree in which country we will travel to. After I found out and checked for the information we chose Lebanon to visit.

1) Expensive accommodation


2) One of the scariest roads in the world (in terms of traffic fatalities.


3) One of the bigger malls has a notice reminding shoppers that wearing "unconservative" clothes and public displays of affection are not allowed.

1) Burj Khalifa


2) Dancing fountain in Dubai mall.


3) Emirates Mall.






I used to dismiss the Christmas Eve this year and to study and do my homework’s. Because when I travel, I won’t study and stay free, only going for having fun and go shopping. I went to Lebanon with my grandmother, for a week from 1st till 7th of January. It was crowded because of the New Year’s Eve and the winter break. I had fun when I saw their culture; it was everywhere; I went to: the mountain of Jeita, and Faraya. The mountain of Jeita was chosen for one of the seven wonders in the world but it failed. It was very cold in the 4 degrees or less even. One day I went skiing, and I had so much fun there with others while playing and learning more moves.
